Construction work began in May 2026 at Portishead, preparing to change the road layout so as to enable the station to be built. At Pill the old Station House has been demolished to make way for the future small station forecourt. Compounds are being built at various places along the line. Old track has been removed between Quays Avenue and Sheepway. The track between Sheepway and Pill is mostly lifted but not removed. |
